Education

HCC’s objects are fashioned to serve its twin purpose by, one, extending practical and material support to the needy deprived and, two, making the country strong, at the same time. The key to any country’s development and progress lies in education. Therefore, to make available the right and meaningful education to its budding human resource has always been the core issue for a country.

For various reasons, not fit to be discussed here, the children of the deprived sections of society do not get meaningful education because the right type of education is imparted by world-class private sector schools which is prohibitive for students belonging to poor and marginalized sections. Even the intelligent and the especially endowed ones rot and do not come into the intellectual mainstream of the country to make India strong.

Hans Healthcare: Philosophy and Strategy

Hans Cultural Centre’s sense of altruism toward the physical and mental health of those people who cannot look after their well-being themselves due to their impoverished condition exhorts us, at HCC, to reach out to them through a variety of ways and manners. Neglect of physical ailments cause somato-psychic problems in the ailing persons that disturb the familial and social well-being of the sick and ailing. Their offspring and other dependents such as, their aged parents, wives and children are bound to suffer and its sequels in all its ramifications present a scenario of hellishness before the family and society. Therefore, by addressing ourselves to the causes of the poor’s healthcare; we reach out to the impoverished sick through the measures of healthcare by rescuing the family out of the morass and removing hellishness from society.

Women empowerment

Women empowerment program should have a holistic approach. Rather than focusing on the problem, focus should be given to issues that are associated with discrimination and marginalization of women. The issue should be addressed in an integrated way and the best solution should be provided for empowerment of women in all aspects. Women have been relegated to the status of subjugated class in the society. The legacy of discrimination and oppression of women has been seen in the economic system, cultural and social norms and political system all over the world.

Gender equality and empowerment of women should be initiated legal where discriminatory laws should be passed to give equal rights to women. They should be empowered economically, socially and politically. If required, aggressive mass movements, mobilizations and campaigns should be carried out to create awareness and end women abuse. Women empowerment should create awareness through economic self-sufficiency in the social, political and legal issues. Emphasizes should be given on the diverse roles of women like productive, community management, etc.

Hans Support to the Aged, the Orphaned and the Disabled thru’ Pension and Onetime Bounty

The Hans Cultural Centre has initiated the special pension and onetime donation schemes for the aged, the orphaned and the disabled. Those needy ones from these categories are considered and taken up for help who have homes to live and their near and dear ones to look them after but are in financial straits due to the lack of economic support base such as, pension, earning children or solicitous relations to extend financial help, etc. Such ones are considered for regular pension on monthly basis or for grant of onetime bounty. The monthly pension comes in handy for them to mobilize better the moral and physical support from their caring children or relations. But, those who lack basic facilities such as, tricycle for the disabled with lower limbs, ear microphone for people with hearing impaired, etc. are considered for onetime cash bounty to enable them to buy the requisite basic things and make their life comfortable and easy. In addition to these categories needing our financial help and support, we consider the widowed and abandoned women for regular monthly pension, and the indigent parents of girl children for onetime bounty to meet expenses on the marriage of their daughters.
