Women empowerment program should have a holistic approach. Rather than focusing on the problem, focus should be given to issues that are associated with discrimination and marginalization of women. The issue should be addressed in an integrated way and the best solution should be provided for empowerment of women in all aspects. Women have been relegated to the status of subjugated class in the society. The legacy of discrimination and oppression of women has been seen in the economic system, cultural and social norms and political system all over the world.

Gender equality and empowerment of women should be initiated legal where discriminatory laws should be passed to give equal rights to women. They should be empowered economically, socially and politically. If required, aggressive mass movements, mobilizations and campaigns should be carried out to create awareness and end women abuse. Women empowerment should create awareness through economic self-sufficiency in the social, political and legal issues. Emphasizes should be given on the diverse roles of women like productive, community management, etc.

The women’s empowerment program focuses on issues live economy, agriculture, industry, poverty eradication, education, health, nutrition, etc. Social stereotyping and violence at domestic level involves manifestation of discrimination against women of most parts of the world. Women are still the weaker section of the society and they are forced to make an existence across the world. The concept of women’s empowerment program is important for every sphere of life. This is a very challenging task as acknowledgement of gender based discrimination needs to be made. Gender discrimination is a long battle that should be fought against structural forces of society.
